  4.    One night, when his charge was pretty high, Micro Farad decided to try to
  5. get a cute little coil to let him discharge. He picked up Millie Amp and took
  6. her for a ride on his megacycle. They rode across the wheatstone bridge around
  7. by the sine wave and stopped in a magnetic field by a flowing current.

  9.    Micro Farad, attracted by Millie's characteristic curves, soon had his
  10. resistance at a minimum and his field fully excited. He laid her on the ground
  11. potential, raised her frequency, lowered her capacitance, and pulled out his
  12. high voltage probe. He inserted it into her socket, connecting them in
  13. parallel, and began to short circut her shunt. Fully excited, Millie Amp said,
  14. "mho, mho, give me mho." With his tube operating at a maximum peak, and her
  15. coil vibrating from the current flow, she soon reached her maximum peak. The
  16. excess current flow had gotten her hot and Micro Farad was rapidly discharged
  17. and drained off every electron.

  19.    They fluxed all night, trying various connections and sockets until his
  20. bar magnet lost all its field strength. Afterwards, Millie Amp tried self
  21. induction and damaged her solenoid. With his battery fully discharged, Micro
  22. farad was unable to excite his generator. So they ended by reversing polarity
  23. and blowing each other's fuses.
